Berkeley is lovely the first week in June. It's even lovelier if you're spending it at the Clark Kerr center attending the 11th Bio-Link summer fellows' workshop.
It's hard to believe that 10 years have passed since the first workshop I attended. Every year, I learn so much and meet so many wonderful people.
I'll be doing a workshop in the computer lab on Thursday morning. This year, we're going to learn about Next Generation DNA Sequencing and take a look at some cool things we can do with Next Gen Data.
We'll also get to hear from the folks at the Joint Genome Institute, learn about Web 2.0, and of course, get to tour interesting places, eat fantastic food, and most of all, enjoy the chance to learn from each other.

get the info, download the schedule and I'll see you in June.
P.S. I'm really hoping we get George Cachianes to come tell us about IGEM. Hint, hint.
